I am a Board Certified Gastroenterologist, specializing in diseases of the Gastrointestinal Tract and the Liver.
My undergraduate degree in Chemistry was received in 1982 at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
I graduated from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine (now the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai) in New York City in 1986.
I then completed my residency training in Internal Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital and I completed my Gastroenterology Fellowship training at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. in 1992.
I have been in practice in the Alexandria, Virginia area for over 29 years.
I am a member of the American Medical Association, The American Gastroenterological Association and The Medical Society of Virginia.
I was voted one of the top doctors in the Washington DC area in the March, 2014 issue of Washingtonian Magazine and one of the top doctors in Northern Virginia in the February 2022 and February 2023 issues of Northern Virginia Magazine.
Amy, my Medical Assistant and Cecelia, my Office Manager have been working with me for over 15 years and are an essential part of my team. They help keep my office running smoothly.
